Immunofluorescence Staining of Her-2 CTC Fixed on Slide


(for Mouse Sample)

Enriched Her-2 positive CTC shed from Her-2 positive solid tumors, such as breast or gastric cancer, is identified by anti-Her2 immunofluorescence staining. Demonstration of anti-Her2 binding to Her-2 CTC provides additional insight regarding evaluation of anti-Her2 therapeutic efficacy. Co-staining with antibodies against additional markers of epithelial, endothelial and stem cell etc. could be performed simultaneously as necessary.

 

Immunofluorescence staining of cells fixed on the Cytelligen coated CTC slide which prevents peeling off and minimizes background keeps good morphology for cells, and is convenient for long term storage. The immunostained human CTCs enriched from mouse blood are applicable for enumeration and single cell analysis performed by laser capture microdissection.
